How can I sign my school up for the FIT TO DANCE for SCHOOLS programme?

If you are a teacher or head teacher at a UK school, teaching children aged 5–11, or in a SEN environment with a similar educational level, you can sign up to FIT TO DANCE.

In addition to all the resources available on this site, you can register your interest for a free school education pack here.

As a school, what will we receive if we sign up to the programme?

A school education pack (subject to availability) includes:

  • A 28-page booklet packed with educational activities and lesson plans that support EYFS / Early Level / Foundation stage in addition to KS1 / First Level & KS2 / Second Level.
  • Leaflets to inform and engage parents.
  • Disney On Ice exercise books, stickers and certificates to reward the children for taking part.
  • A2 and A3 posters to use during lessons.
  • An interactive PowerPoint presentation to use in class and in assembly.
  • A toolkit of items to help you communicate the programme to pupils and parents.

Can we get a special offer on tickets to Disney On Ice shows for school trips?

Disney On Ice occasionally offers discounts on group bookings. See your FIT TO DANCE school education pack for the latest offer.

How do we book tickets to Disney On Ice shows for school trips?

What are the curriculum links for Disney On Ice shows?

A Disney On Ice visit can show your pupils how wonderful stories can be told through dance. The FIT TO DANCE for SCHOOLS programme supports the national curriculum requirements in the UK for English and PE, and encourages pupils to create their own imaginative stories and keep healthy through dance.

Can we access risk assessments for the Disney On Ice venues?

Not every Disney On Ice venue can share their risk assessments with the public. However, the venues that can are listed below for your reference:
